Which Schengen country to apply through

Schengen visas are issued by individual member states, but they unlock the whole area. Choice of embassy often drives turnaround time.

Spain offers the highest urgency-slot availability in Dubai most months of the year — useful for tight lead times. Appointment coordination is typically possible within a week; processing is among the fastest in the Schengen area.

Italy has stable slot availability year-round and is strong for multi-entry applications. The consulate in Dubai processes a large volume of UAE residents, which favours repeat travellers.

Greece has emerged as a priority channel for summer-travel compression, with appointment slots often available within 2–3 days. Standard processing is 10–12 working days.

France is the traditional default — thorough, rigorous, but slower. Queue lengths in peak season can stretch to 6–8 weeks; plan early.

For first-entry cases, we align the embassy with the itinerary: your first stop in Schengen (or longest stay) determines eligibility. For multi-country trips, the country of main purpose wins.

Common questions

How long does a Schengen visa take?

Standard processing is 10–15 working days. Urgent appointments can be coordinated within 48–72 hours depending on destination country and embassy availability.

Which Schengen country should I apply through?

The country of first entry, longest stay, or — if equal — main purpose of travel. We advise on the fastest-availability country for urgent cases; see the section below.

Can I apply for multi-entry Schengen from Dubai?

Yes. Multi-entry visas are issued by all Schengen consulates; eligibility depends on travel history and supporting documents. We prepare the file to maximise approval probability.

What documents do I need?

Passport, UAE residency visa copy, Emirates ID, travel insurance, flight booking, accommodation proof, bank statements (3–6 months), employment letter, cover letter. Full checklist sent on WhatsApp once scope is confirmed.

What is the first-entry rule?

You must enter the Schengen area through the country that issued your visa, or use that country for the main portion of travel. Exceptions exist; we plan the itinerary to stay compliant.

Can I travel to non-Schengen Europe with a Schengen visa?

No. Schengen visas cover 26 Schengen countries. For the UK, Ireland, or other non-Schengen destinations, separate visas apply.

What happens if my Schengen application is refused?

We review the refusal letter, identify the grounds, and advise on either an appeal or a re-application with strengthened documents. No guarantees, full transparency.

Can I apply if I've overstayed before?

Past overstays affect approval probability but are not an automatic refusal. We disclose the history in the application and support it with stronger ties to the UAE.
